Although this program was started 4 years ago, I hadn't heard about it till I received an envelope with a recent Amazon.com delivery.  I typed in the web address I saw on the prepaid envelope intended for my old cell phone, www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com, and learned about the program.

This program was started by two kids whose goal is get troops serving away from home in touch with their families.  You can send them your old cell phone, or donate money.  Check out the website.

What a great cause!  And while I am someone who generally runs my cell phone into the ground (I think the last time I bought one was 4 years ago), I know that I not the norm.  So when it's time to replace your cell phone please remember Cell Phones for Soldiers.
