We're not making any bones about it, there's a lot that's going to change in just a few short days for mortgage folks like us, but The worst TRID advice we've seen so far is this: Don't worry it's not going to change that much.
Seriously. That's what they said.
I find that to be totally disturbing; it's like the Rebels in Star Wars thinking the Death Star was just a moon and not much to worry about, it's like everyone in Jurassic Park thinking dinosaurs would be a fun play-date, it's like someone thinking the shark in Jaws made a good cuddle buddy.
Not being educated on one of the most massive changes to the real estate and mortgage world is probably one of the biggest mistakes you can make at the moment. I really think that people who haven't prepared for this event are listening to the worst TRID advice out there and might end up going out of business.
So here's my warning for you! Be prepared! Get to know about the changes as thoroughly and as quickly as possible!
