Welcome to This Month in Real Estate for September 2015. Here are just a few of the national real estate numbers we’re tracking for you right now. According to the National Association of Realtors(R), the number of projected home sales rose to 5.6 million. And the national median home price for existing homes decreased to $234,000. That's down 1% from last month and up 5.6% from this same time last year. Finally, according to Freddie Mac, the national average for a 30 year fixed-rate mortgage is down from last month to 3.93%.Local Henderson Community Statistics September 2015.
The median home price in Henderson was $269,900, down .03% from the previous month, but up 6.7% year over year. The average sales price in Henderson, NV was $312,508, down 35% from the previous month, but up 5.9% from the previous year. Foreclosure and short sales are down and active listings are up 19.8% from last year. Average days on market remained about the same year over year, with 54 days.
