October is here and it appears that the humidity is leaving us and we will be having “Chamber of Commerce” weather. Turtle nesting season is ending and the famous Naples Pier will soon be open to the public.
The Naples Pier has undergone a 1.5 million renovation. The boards have been replaced with Brazillian ipe wood which will last 30 years or more. Turtle friendly lights have been installed and the stairs have been moved to have a better flow of foot traffic.
The world famous Naples Pier will be open free of charge 7 days a week and is a great spot for sunset and dolphin watching as well as fishing.
If you are wondering about homes for sale in Naples close to the pier and downtown, referred to as Olde Naples, there is a wide variety of real estate.
