Inspiration

I don't know if there is much sense that can be made of mental illness.  And, certainly the senseless killings at the community college in Roseberg, Oregon, fall into that realm.  

I keep wondering what the earth would be like if folks began seeing themselves as more alike, rather than different!

Thank you for this post John!   We have interesting days ahead of us and must be careful to still be loving and kind-even in difficult times.

Sadly it has been going on in 3rd world countries for a long time but we have decided to ignore it!

I have thought about this and discussed it with my husband.  I need to discuss this with my grown children too but I'm sure that they all feel the same way.  Yeshua' said that if we acknowledge him before others, He would acknowledge us before The Father .  These brave young people did that.

John McCormack this is so sad! Was it an effect of Blood Moon? One never knows. Still - 

"Whatever happens, continue to trust completely in God, and do NOT be afraid!"

Thanks john.  I certainly believe there are things we can do to minimize these senseless attacks.

I am so saddened by this recent tragedy so close to home. Regardless of where it happens, or why, it's horrific. There are no words.

many folks feel the same that we are at the end of days, live life as you say

It is very sad. There seems to be no end and until we can get change at the top to initiate real change, we are stuck as a nation. I think it starts by keeping these peoples face and names off tv and out of the limelight. Locally as you, we stay strong as a family, community and be alert. Faith will lead us. 

I just shake my head and hope that mental illness will be dealt with as a true disease instead of being put in the closet, John.

It is chilling.  God is bigger than all of it, though, and will never leave us without His help.  Great post.  Thank you.

Reading this reminds me of your video of yours regarding the monuments of Jesus' last days in Texas. I cried because it was so sad and so beautiful and uplifting at the same time.

We are living in scary times though these religious wars have been going on almost since creation. All I can say is "God Bless America" and I loved  the fact that Pope Francis came to visit our country.

These are uncertain times but we have something solid to hold onto. I appreciate your post so much, John.
