It's time to put the house on the market! What do you do, where do you go? Some people will try to sell their home privately because they think they can save the full 5% commission. Is this always what happens? Do most buyers work with an agent? When was the last time you sold a home? Do you have what it takes to sell without an agent? Do you know that the buyer will most likely be represented by their agent, who is representing you?
You might be saving a certain amount of money, but you still end up doing a lot of the work, you are negotiating with someone who does this for a living. How much do you really save?
