Public Hearing on the request of Gregory Betchkal, 16800 South Park Boulevard, to the Board of Zoning Appeals for a variance to the fence height regulations for a side yard fence. The applicant proposes to install a 7 foot tall fence on the side property line. The wood, boardon-board fence is proposed to begin at the front corner of the house and extend to the back corner of the yard along the western property line. This side property line fence borders the Shaker Historical Society museum property. The code allows a maximum fence height of 6 feet at a single family residential property. A 6 foot tall fence is proposed around the remainder of the rear yard. The City of Shaker Heights Civil Service Commision had ameeting on 10/13/15.
