How many agents out there use a local mall kiosk to advertise their listings? In my area of Harford County, Harford Mall has a Long and Foster kiosk managed by an agent in our office. I advertise my listing, and advertise myself and my services on the kiosk. To date, I have not received any leads off the kiosk, yet I am curious to see if any agents out there have a success story related.

It is most definitely a great way to pick up buyers, by sitting at the kiosk for a few hours. The mall is often filled with busy individuals, with shopping on the brain. Why not help them shop for a new home while they are there? As I said, I have not had any personal success with this, but any way to scout business is a good way.

In the next few weeks, we are kicking off our most elaborate (and unfortunately expensive) marketing drive yet. I am hopeful to gain at least one buyer to pay for the cost of the plan! Until then, I am off to the kiosk to try to generate a few leads.

Share your success stories, enlighten and encourage!

Great question! I have not tried it but have seen the kiosk you speak of. There is also one at Eastpoint Mall in Essex. I would be interested in the response rate as well.

It is not very expensive, their is an agent in our office who rents the kiosk, and the other agents in the office pay him $30 a piece to advertise there. As for success, none yet...

Certainly worth looking at. If you can have others pay to help with the expenses.

I have had great success with marketing in kiosk- now I am not a realtor.  I own restuarants and they print out coupons- I track them and it works pretty well.  Good Luck!
