Fountain Creek Nature Center is hosting its annual pumpkin carving party to decorate the evening's jack-o-lantern trail this Saturday, October 24th. Whether looking for a fall activity or wholesome Halloween fun, the El Paso County's nationally recognized Nature Center event is perfect for all ages. Reservations are required by phone to book a carving time between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Cost is $5 per pumpkin and carving tools are supplied.
Later in the evening, all of the days pumpkin creations will be displayed for the "Jack-O-Lantern Trail Walk" where creators and visitors alike can admire the lit walkway. The night will include a campfire with marshmallows and animal stories, bugs and snakes for viewing, and crafts. Scheduled from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and the cost is $5/members $6 for nonmembers. No reservation required.
