What's Happening in OKC - Mid Month October 2015

Oklahoma CityOklahoma City has so many fun activities in the Fall. With the development of our River District, the Myriad Gardens and Downtown here in OKC, you will find much to do with your friends and family here in our lovely city.

As you can tell, I am quite partial to the Downtown, Midtown and River District here in Oklahoma City. As a Realtor® who shows and sells in the Urban Living areas of our OKC real estate market, it makes sense to keep my friends and clients up to date on what is happening in our OKC area. Life is really so much fun in Oklahoma!

Here's a few of my top picks for mid month October 2015 here in Oklahoma City!
  • Myriad Gardens: Bringing Books to Life - Bringing Books to Life. This is a great event. I'm a member of the Myriad Botanical Gardens in OKC and I love to get the word out on events happening here. This one happens every Wednesday in October from 10am to 11am. Bring your kids! Crystal Bridge South Lobby and it's FREE! Bring your youngster for story time each Wednesday at 10am. Books are nature-themed and selected based on the season. Children will also enjoy creating a small craft after the story.
  • Pumpkinville: Fourth Annual Pumpkinville, presented by OGE Energy Corporation, at the Myriad Botanical Gardens Oct. 9-25. The fourth annual Pumpkinville, presented by OGE Energy Corporation, is October 9-25 in the Children’s Garden at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. Come by and take part in this celebration of pumpkins, harvest and all things fall. Believe or not, there are more than 3,000 pumpkins! They will fill the Children’s Garden along with crafts, games, imaginative displays, a party and more. I encourage you to bring your friends and family to explore this great OKC event each Fall.
