Life is good. We have been blessed with this great opportunity to have our own real estate school, which gives us a chance to help others achieve their goal of becoming a licensed real estate agent.
Life is good. In 2006, we felt the call of God on our lives and entered an RV Ministry through the US Assemblies of God. Through that ministry, we were privileged to help build, restore and repair many churches, schools, Teen Challenges and colleges throughout the country. It was a volunteer ministry, and I was able to continue teaching real estate courses and NAR designations for a few years, until my health became an issue.
Life is good. Some of the health issues are still there, but not to the degree they had been, and I have been blessed to continue teaching even after "retirement." Having been dormant for a few years, it was wonderful moving to Florida, leaving the RV Ministry, buying a house, starting the school, and now being available to serve on a local level.
Life is good. Many people my age are no longer interested in working. To me, my work is my ministry. I would love to see every single student I teach become successful! There is so much room at the table, and these students of mine will never know that if I don't tell them! They are worth the investment we make into their lives. This is what we're called to do - to help others.
Yes, life is good. The real estate market is good. The students are good. Keller Williams Realty, who gives us a place to teach, is good. God has made all this possible, and I unashamedly thank Him for it! I pray He continues to bless TEAM Hughes Real Estate School and each and every student we have. May I never forget the importance of what we do.
