Now this brings back some memories.  It was a challenge every summer to find a safe reasonable cost reliable place for my 5 children during the summer months.  The YMCA Day Camp was a lifesaver.

Joan, This is great information, I remember taking my children around to all the camps to see them before choosing.  And I was also going to post on a particular favorite of mine, coming soon :)  Happy Sunday!

Hi Joan, Another really great little piece that gives fair warning. Start planning now for the summer and the inevitable, There's nothing to do" When I was kid growing up, I always seemed to have so many things I wanted to do , there was hardly time. Had I had a computer back then, I am not sure if I would be the same person today as I am now. Scouting was big, swimming was big, my clubhouse was big and making money. I used to be a paper boy when I was in my teens and there was not enough time in the day to take care of business, even in the summer months. So many things to do and places to go. My parents were big on Sundays being family day. Dinner was always served between 1:00 and 2:00, except when picnics were planned, they it was eat all day. I wish I could relive all those times.
