Moving With Feng Shui - Reduce Your Stress and Anxiety

Moving can be so STRESSFUL!

So, why not implement a wholistic method into your move to help reduce stress levels and make the process a bit easier on your body, mind and emotions. Utilizing the Feng Shui principles to help pre-plan your home's layout, furniture arrangement, selection of wall and/or accent colors, placement of artwork, lighting and the overall energy flow will create ease and support. Why? Because you are no longer guessing where things need to be arranged (especially if they are heavy). You can foresee the near future vision of your home, while still being flexible.

Clients report becoming more excited about their move-in because they can ENVISION the possibilities of their new home. Stress, anxiety and worry transform into creative vision and thinking.

I always recommend to my clients that we meet session by session.  For proper guidance I meet with them for 1-3 sessions, keeping each session within a one to two hour time frame. This allows my clients not to feel over loaded with too much emotional, physical and mental Feng Shui guidance.

Sample Sessions for Wholisitc Moving Guidance:

1. Review layout, room selections for occupant (s) and major furniture arrangements

2. Review wall / accent colors, placement of artwork, lighting and other furnishings

3. Final review of interior location (filling in any remaining details/ addtinal Feng Shui cures as needed), reviewing the landscape and preforming a Space Clearing (optional yet recommended)

Its rare that I work with clients who wish to complete the interior and exterior suggestions once, yet it is possible depending on the project scale and personalty of each person.

Moving can be perceived as a wonderful opportunity full of new beginnings.  How you choose to perceive your move can shift your experience.

Laura - excellent thoughts.  My wife and I learned the hard way on our first move.  We thought we had lost something only to find it in a box a year later.  If we had done it your way we would have saved the stress.
