Quarry Creek Community in Carlsbad – Updates and Name Change
Things are progressing with the development of the Quarry Creek neighborhood in northeast Carlsbad just south of the 78 freeway and to the west of College Boulevard.
There has been a lot of interest in this community from Carlsbad home buyers. But if you are interested in a home now, rather than waiting for Quarry Creek, you can search for all Carlsbad homes for sale by clicking the photo to the right.
You can also search for ALL San Diego County homes at SoCal Home Hunter.
As you can see from the photos they have made significant progress in grading the 60+ acres of land and installing the sewers since the last update, in an area that includes a reclaimed rock quarry, hence the name (not to mention Buena Vista Creek).
You can read more about the recent fossils that were discovered on the property which halted work temporarily.
The developer has plans to change the name from Quarry Creek to Old Creek Trails.
Over 600 homes, both single family detached and town homes, are planned. It is expected the first homes will be available in 2016. No pricing has been announced.
Stay tuned for more updates on the progress at this new home development at Quarry Creek in Carlsbad, CA.
