WARNING!: Not recommended for the faint of heart, Thriller at Tuacahn 2015!
The Odyssey Dance Theatre's "THRILLER" performance at Tuacahn Ampitheatre is part of southern Utah's yearly tradition of things that go bump-in-the-night! The evening includes: Goblins, skeletons and ghouls, shrieking and screaming, amazing music, singing, choreography and macabre humor!
The show runs: October 24th to October 31st, 2015 - Showtime starts at 7:30 PM
Before the show starts, the crowd is inundated with zombies, bodies twitching with jerky movements, demanding everyones attention. My advice...DO NOT look them in the eye, they will come after YOU! Spooky indeed! Creepy even!
Michael Jackson's music lives on through this 1st Class entertaining 2 hour event producing everything scary including werewolves, the walking dead, skeletons, mummies, Bubbles the Clown, chainsaws, machetes, Friday the 13th frightening fun, as well as the change up to "I Saw Mommy Killing Santa Claus."
Critics agree that "THRILLER" is Spooktacularly Entertaining!...
"Compelling dance performed to perfection! Young, trim, slim, and athletic...Great fun!" --The Spectrum
"Odyssey's "Thriller"..a delightful "Dance Macabre"....As for humor, there were bucket loads. Laughs abounded during a "Romeo & Juliet" inspired "Frankenstein & Frankenstein" and "Jason Jam," a work that used a lot of percussive dancing, a la "Stomp", that spotlighted three "Friday the 13th" villains dancing with ice picks, machetes and, of all things, chain saws. The whole idea was cool..." Scott Iwasaki, Deseret News.
