Wordless Wednesday - Rest Easy Granddaddy

Your Grandmother is waiting for me in heaven, I saw her standing by my bed last night...it’s my time to go......he was ready and they will rest in peace together.  It is much more difficult for those who are left behind.  Loving memories of him and your Grandmother will keep them both alive in your heart forever.

Good Wednesday morning Amanda S. Davidson -

You and your family have been in our thoughts since we learned of the passing of your Granddad.  I really like Debbie's words, "Your wings were ready to fly but my heart was not."  Rings so very true.  

Good morning Amanda. I still have one grandma left here with us and she's in Michigan so I don't get to see her often at all. She's a wonderfully loving woman who I admire greatly. I will be a mess when she passes. It's photos like this one that allow us to remember our loved ones for who they were and what they meant to us.

Hello Amanda,  Again, I am so sorry for your loss but I know you have great memories of your grandfather.  I mom is by my side everyday that I am in the kitchen as I know your grandfather is with you.

So sorry for you loss. What an amazing story that he saw your grandmother. What a blessing that He is finally HOME for good. Looking forward to the day when i will be HOME for good too. You can't buy a lot in that city that was built without hands. You can't earn it you can only surrender to JESUS the one who paid for our HOME in heaven. 

I am with you Amanda. I find the companionship of Active Rain to be very helpful in dealing with tragedy such as your great loss.

So sorry for your loss, Amanda.  He sounds like a wonderful man.  You're lucky to have had as much time with him as you did.

Amanda, I saw this on FB and sent prayers for the faily.  Your granddaddy lived a good life here on earth and now is in his heavenly home. His memory will live forever in your heart.

Amanda, I am so sorry to hear about your granddad. Your tribute shows what a wonderful man he was. I've picked that up about both of your grandparents and your parents through your blog over the years. You are blessed. 

Amanda - Your story about your granddaddy gave me goosebumps. Grieving and letting go is so hard. I love that photo of him and I know you have wonderful memories. Now they are together again and that's the way they both wanted it. 

I'm sorry for you loss. The reality is never easy. The love of your parents and friends will get you through this painful time. The upcoming holidays is going to make it toughest. I think your granddaddy would have wanted you to remember all those stories and wants you to continue to share them because he knew, life here on earth does go on.
