Orange Glo - Miracle Wood Restorer

By
Home Stager with Prudential Ambassador / Ross Designs, LLC

I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes!  A few weeks ago I was at a client's house beginning our Staging walkthrough. I had mentioned that the wordwork was pretty beat up in the floor trim and around the doors. The seller stopped me to excitedly explain that she had found the product to save her lots of time and money!

She brought out her spray bottle of "Orange Glo" and quickly demonstrated how spraying and wiping this product on the woodwork amazingly filled in some of the nicks and freshened the whole look of it. Not to mention the pleasing orange fresh scent that lightly filled the air.

I am not sure how long the effect lasts; surely if the sellers have dogs or small children they will incur additional nicks while on the market. But with a product so easy to apply (and inexpensive) it isn't hard for the average seller to keep up with this.

I think Orange Glo works pretty well.  I still like just a bit of Murphy's Oil Soap on a slightly damp cloth.  I think it also keeps wood very nice and it seems to last a bit longer.

I have also been impressed with the Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean. It is great for removing scuff marks from walls.

They all work pretty good.  It is amazing the cleaners they have nowadays.

Word of caution with the orange glo as it doesn't last long and can bead up if you use too much at one time.  It typically lasts for about 3 days.

I have used the orange glo on my own tired oak kitchen cabinets and unfortunately, the shine goes away after one day.  Hope your client has better luck.
