Renew your vehicle license in Arkansas by internet. So Easy.

Folks in Arkansas used to go to the Revenue Department to renew their license plates on their vehicles.  You'd try to avoid busy days and hope you didn't have to take a number that had 10 or so people ahead of you.

Things have changed for the better!  We can now renew on line.   It is fresh on my mind right now because I just did it again.  It is a 5 step process which requires your putting in your renewal id no and a verification code and your odometer reading.  You view your fee, pay your fee with a credit or on-line check, view and print a receipt, and give feedback if you want to.  I always leave feedback saying, "ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!"

The name of the site is www.arstar.com.  In about 5 days you'll get the little sticker to put on the license plate and you are good for another year!!  Progress does happen in our Natural State of Arkansas and this was one of the better changes!

Sadly in DC - there is nothing that involves the government that is easy.  We still like to make things as impossible as we can.  It makes the Tuff stronger and the Weak ticked off!  LOL

Barbara,

I have used the internet for years to renew!  Easy, no lines and saves gas!  Good post!

James, I can't imagine anything being easy in DC.  The one time I was there it was staggering.  So much concrete, so much traffic, so confusing.  It may be different in your neck of the woods;  I hope so.

Mary, read James's comment.  We are fortunate that our good guv changed this.

Great info Barbara.  If you ever go back to DC, use the metro.  Definitely cuts out the traffic.

Joshua and Kathy, it is a cultural difference.  Growing up in the south, you never learn things like how to ride the metro, figure out bus schedules in big cities, subways, etc.  I'm afraid I'd never learn with one short visit.  Thanks for your comment.

Robert, thanks for stopping by my blog.  I'll probably have fewer miles on my vehicle next year because of gas conservation!
