Bundled Upped Emotions

“The key is to not resist or rebel against emotions or to try

to get around them by devising all sort of tricks, but

to accept them directly as they are.”

Takahisa Kora, MD

As I see it . . . . . . .

Bundled upped emotions

I see it in the homeowners on a regular basis  who are going through the emotions of . . . . being forced to sell their homes through a short sale. Or they’re about to lose their home through a foreclosure.

Their stomachs are tied in knots . . . . and their emotions can be off the charts with big mood swings.

I’m seeing far too many homeowners with bundled upped emotions . . . . and they are beating themselves up . . . . and have a negative impact on their life and emotion.

The family unit is stretched to the breaking point . . . . and its’ effecting job performance at every level. What you’re seeing is a reaction to their conditions that are being acted through  their emotional with outbursts of anger to the people around them.

In many cases they are not talking about their emotions . . . . and how they really feel . . . . They are living with bundled upped emotions. Those emotions will cause stress issues . . . .  illness . . . . depression . . . . or worst.

There may be times that you sense this with your customers . . . . ask them if they want to talk about it . . . . or better yet ask them how they feel about what they’re going through.

Encourage them to talk to you . . . . and when they open up to you they will release their bundled upped emotions . . . . and when they do it will feel like a giant weight being lifted off their back.

This is a stressful, emotional event in peoples life.  Especially when that "have" to move.  It is indeed part of our job to try to help defuse these feelings.

Good morning, Lou Ludwig when listing agents are called in to give a presentation, the question of why one is selling is always asked....and at that point, the emotions could easily flow...

Lou,

Emotions are what drive us! If you know what is motivating a buyer you will be able to capture them!

It is high emotions for all parties to the transaction. I can see that being able to share the burden actually releases the feeling of being bogged down.
