The San Antonio Spurs showed the world that they have the right stuff by coming from behind the Phoenix Suns not once, but twice!

Sixteen points behind, the faithful at the AT&T Center did not give up on their 4 time Champions. Defense wins Championships they say, well, the Spurs proved it once again.  The hero at the end of regulation was Michael Finley, after the 1st Overtime Tim Duncan hit his first three pointer of the season.  The 2nd Overtime and the Spurs were defintely worn out- 40+ minutes each for the Big Three, Duncan, Ginobelli, and Parker.

Never say die Ginobelli willed the Spurs to victory with a last minute lay up.  The crowd went wild, the ABC announcers were beside themselves with praise and glee - Hey,  this is just the first round!

I'm sure glad we TIVO'd the entire game- we were too chicken to watch it live- made for a great play later that evening.  Rest up Spurs- Tuesday will be here sooner than you think! Bring on Game 2!
