As I thinking about this post, I thought of Christina Williams...She was on vacation this weekend and was so looking forward to getting away to a place where the cell phone wouldn't ring, couldn't check email, and didn't have to worry about anything in regards to work.
It reminds me of something my Father-in-law is always stressing to me. It is good to sometimes take some time away to just relax and energize. Well, I didn't exactly get to relax today or get re-energized, but I did get to have a whole lot of fun!
My wife and I are in charge of our young adults ministry at our church which is for those between the ages of 18-39. Today we had a spring picnic and softball game. We had a great turnout of about 45-50 people, had some good food and a great time playing softball. The weather was perfectly in the mid 70's with the sun shining bright. The best part of the day though was the fact that my cell phone did not ring one time with business related material! I was actually able to have a day off from work!
In closing, I just remind everyone how important it is to sometimes turn the phone off for a day, ignore the email, don't check the office voicemail, and to just enjoy life! I leave you all with some pictures from today's event.

Way to go Jeremy. Nothing better than grilled food, kids and parents spending some quality time together and a little softball.
Those diamonds look real nice. Ours are finally drying out after all the rain and snow.
I'm ready for another vicodin for my finger.
