Love My Perpetual Jack-o-Lanterns
Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year. The decorations still bring the excitement of getting dressed up and running around door to door for candy. Who doesn't love a well carved jack-o-lantern?
I've learned to do very good jack-o-lanterns over the years, but sometimes, time just doesn't allow. For that reason. I love my perpetual jack-o-lanterns.
This was the first one I ever bought. I was a teenager at the time and felt like spending $12 at a local fall festival may have been foolish. Ha! Thirty years later, this ceramic jack-o-lantern is still lit up every October in my home.
About a decade ago, I added some decorative jack-o-lanterns from Meadowbrook Gourds. They quickly became my favorites. The gourd shape and orange light inside make them the perfect accent to a dark room as we wind up for Halloween.
