I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day!  Mid-seventies...sun shining...beautiful...!  My twin sister (Did I tell you I have a twin sister?) and I and our husbands took our horses to an equestrian park  to ride.  This is a new park, so it was our first time riding there.  The horses did great loading into the trailer and were calm the entire outing.

The only "problem" I had was trying to get my bay Arabian gelding to walk through a puddle.  Now,  I didn't have to walk through the puddle to get to my destination, I was just training him to listen to me.  Anyway, at one point, he sidestepped to get away from the puddle and went into some high grass.  Little did he know that the water was deeper in there.  Every direction he turned was water, and he didn't like it.  He was fighting with me and not listening and getting deeper...Finally, he stopped and let out this loud whinny as if to say..."Help!"

It was rather funny.  :)  I told him that if he would've listened to me in the first place, he wouldn't be in this mess... :)    When he started listening, I got him out of the puddle and on dry ground.

So, needless to say, I had a great day!  How about you?  :)

I would have loved to ride today, but we had pouring rain.  Although I did spend yesterday at the horse show.
