Plus a Fall and Winter Maintenance Checklist

 

It's a busy time this weekend in Carlsbad CA:

 

Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday at 2:00 and we gain an hour of sleep!

 

Daylight Savings Time Ends November 1 at 2:00 am

 

We'll be celebrating HALLOWEEN on Saturday (with some events on Friday), October 31 with Trick or Treating and much more. Here's a list of events this week in Carlsbad.

Trick or Treat

 

The 41st Annual Carlsbad Village Faire takes place in Carlsbad Village on Sunday November 1, which is also All Saint's Day.

 

November 1 is also Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead.

 

This is a good time to change those smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector batteries (if they aren't the 10-year ones) and do a bit of fall and winter maintenance on your home.

That is so true. I hate it myself but the cats drive me nuts. But in general I just don't care for how short the days are getting...and the end of DST makes it worse IMO
