The Perfect Realtor Halloween Costume:
Love the Electronic Lockbox!
At the Northern Fairfield County’s Annual Education & Trade Expo in Danbury, CT last week, Halloween costumes were encouraged. In fact, a contest was held for the best guest costume and “best-dressed” vendor booth.
The winners where well chosen, indeed and their selections well-deserved. The best costume was a very creative and topical one: Can you guess?
It was a Supra Lock Box that we are fortunate to enjoy in our area. The “Bluetooth” sign on it means it can be used with a smart phone; no extra keypads needed and it updates automatically when the App is used.
The lock box is programmable for address, listing details, times when it can be accessed (no more rogue showings at 7:00am or 10pm) as well as feedback. Everyone who uses one of these lock boxes to enter a property is automatically registered along with time of entry and departure.
The listing agent can access a report online as to all the details, which come replete with showing agents’ contact info for easy follow-up. Parts of the report can be shared with the sellers to demonstrate traffic.
Those are just some of the features. Safety is another huge one (as opposed to the combo boxes that are scary). Love those electronic lock boxes!
Clearly, only realtors and related industry crowd people could appreciate this costume. It might not work well for recognition when trick-or-treating around town. What a great idea this was!
The winners of the Best Booth contest were folks from the Savings Bank of Danbury. No explanation needed? Well done!
Good fun was had by all. The Continuing Education classes were excellent (two down!), as was the lunch. Networking: priceless.
