This week’s report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 4.2 percent, for new homes up 16.4 percent and for resale conds up 6.3 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 10.0 percent and up 17.6 percent on condos and up 0.3 percent for new homes.

- Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are up 5.0 percent and the sales volume is up 20.6 percent.
- Aliso Viejo sales prices are up 1.8 percent and the sales volume is up 1.8 percent.
- Laguna Niguel sales prices are down 2.3 percent and the sales volume is up 4.0 percent.
- Rancho Santa Margarita sales prices are down 0.4 percent and the sales volume down 23.1 percent.
- San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 3.0 percent and the sales volume is down 26.0 percent.
- San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 7.7 percent and the sales volume is down 8.0 percent.
The Holiday season is here and the result is what we expect in the market slowing which is shown in the numbers. However, except for Ranch Santa Margarita has the biggest change.
