It's raining so much the draw down isn't down too well anymore. Hopefully we'll have some sunshine soon so folks can get that dock/seawall and boat ramp work done. Georgia Power recently opened a Lake Oconee/Lake Sinclair facebook page for sharing information.
Looks like the election results are in and Eatonton will get a new mayor in January. Hopefully we'll see some positive changes in the city. Baldwin and Milledgeville voters apparently don't want consolidation as that got a 68% no vote. Both Baldwin and Putnam voted on SPLOST today and Baldwin voted to keep it in place. Hopefully I can update this post by in the A.M. with the Putnam results.
Robins Air Force Base will be adding or filling 400 jobs in 2016. Hopefully that will help the Baldwin/Putnam unemployment numbers a bit.
I'll be working on my market reports in the next few days and we'll see how the real estate market was October. Just a quick note that it was the best October with number of sales in the past 5 years.
