Stopping to smell the whatevers . . .

So, I have no idea what these are. But anything that looks like this that is blooming this time of the year, well, it got my attention.  These are more urban flowers that are still hanging in there despite the chilly weather we've been having.  I took a quick break from a phone call to snap this one with my iPhone.

Some kind of drought tolerant tree.... See it here in west coast and Mediterranean also.

It looks like a very tropical type plant to me. I love the photos my iphone takes and the clarity. They are s much better than the first ones.

Sam, it also tolerates water!  We've had quite a bit of rain this year.

Debbie, I think the iPhone is becoming a huge thorn in the side of the camera manufacturers!

Roger, there were landscape guys up and down the block the day I took these, and it occurs to me I should have stopped and asked.

A simply beautiful photo Patricia. It does not matter what type of plant this is, it is really cool to view. Nice photography helps.

Those are beautiful whatevers!

Is it really cold where you are? It's much warmer than usual - today is 75 which is simply MARVELOUS.

Ihave no idea what those flowers are.  At first glance I thought the foliage looked a little like Oleanders; but I don't think the blossoms come in that hue.  I'll be Roy Kelley would know!
