Seems like I just road in this event - but the 33rd Annual El Tour de Tucson is coming up in two weeks on Saturday November 21st. This will be my 20th El Tour - and wow - have 20 years just whizzed by!
As always, if you live in Tucson - this is the largest event in the country - with more than 8,000 participants. That means - for one day - traffic delays and tie-ups are going to be apparant! Plan ahead, or stay home for the morning - or, if you happen to live along the course, come on out and cheer the cyclists on!
Here is hoping for a safe ride for all, and a safe event for all volunteers and staff of the El Tour de Tucson!
