Today is 11/11 and that is of course the Veteran's Day holiday here in the United States. It is the day we honor those who serve in our military!
At my local Starbucks (where many of you know I can often be found with a cup of coffee and my laptop) a couple of the local Marines stood at the door and opened it for us aw we came in and left.
They stand ready (behind the scenes) without us ever really noticing them. When I walked in today and saw them holding the door for us...It got me to thinking...many people get the day off to have fun with kids, friends and family because they stand ready to defend us.
The greatness of their sacrifice has opened many doors for me!
