What Theme Are You Using?

Anita Clark - I'm with Gabe Sanders and Dick Greenberg I also use the Genesis product.  I purchased the unlimited theme package so I can change themes as needed.  All work with IDX plug-ins.  Easy to use.  

I also use the Genesis theme no problems so far.

Anita - yes we've had that happen a few years back and it's no fun for sure. I shifted to IDX Broker Platinum last year and use an agent evolution them that works fabulously with the IDX and wordpress with the Genesis frame.  Good luck on getting a new theme up and running.

I am in the process of getting a brand spanking new IDX site. It is in the middle of production and I can't answer that question Anita. I have two other Wordpress sites, one is just for community blogs and it does not have an IDX feed and the other is with IHomefinder and has a custom theme to it based on the "panorama" theme.

Anita it was very easy to setup and get running - seriously easy. Happy to help you out if you chose to go down that path. A very sweet gal in FL helped me out and I didn't even know her at first. PS it is a Genesus framework.

Yes, Anita...I forgot to add I also use the Genesis framework...you know that we all need to make major changes every few years...it is the way it is to stay up there for the consumer!

Anita - Are you referring to your sellingwarnerrobins.com site? I have been checking out other peoples sites and IMO, your site is the best in appearance, and content. Hopefully your web guy has figured out what caused the hiccup and knows how to prevent it from happening again.  BTW, where do you get your fantastic graphics for your blog posts?

I agree that many of the themes become outdated. Looking at what other members have suggested...

I used to have a WordPress site Anita Clark but no more so I don't think I can help.   At the same time, if it works and that was just a bump in the road, I would probably continue to "dance with the one that brung me" this far.

Anita, Genesis framework, Turnkey theme.  Turnkey was designed to work with IDX Broker, so no real issues with integration.

This weekend I was helping our brokerage owner with an agent recruiting site, and his theme was Avada.  Not sure how well it would work with IDX (I suspect fine), but what I liked about the page building was the modular approach.  You could drop in flip boxes, checklists, tabbed content, etc., fairly easily.  That's something I don't currently have included with my theme (Turnkey is fairly rigid for the home page), but I did like the flexibility with the Avada theme (once I finally figured out how to make things work).  Bill
