At one point, I thought I was going to be my son's hair stylist. I mean, it can't be that hard right? You just pull the hair through your fingers and cut, right? Well, not so much. I cut my son's hair the first year and after accidentally nicking his ear, I put the scissors down. I'm sure he was ecstatic since he didn't have to walk around with gaps in his hair. Hey, I thought it looked pretty good.
So, I have been on the hunt for different hair salons that are just for kids. Cooper hates to get his hair cut. He screams like it's the end of the world. Poor thing. I think the fact the sound of the buzzer scares him. It seems that going to a children's hair salon has helped. Most of them have cute little cars that they sit in while they get their hair cut. They also usually have cartoons playing. What's my favorite part? Well, when Cooper screams bloody murder, I don't have to worry about other people staring in amazement. I think that being a children's salon, they are used to it and so are other parents. If you haven't taken your child to their own salon, you really should it's a fun experience.

Lindsay - a few extra bucks at a children's hair salon will outweigh the medical expenses of re-attaching an ear:-)
