As a seller... a buyer's agent can be your best friend.

As a seller, you often take for granted the buyer's agent.

How do i do that you ask? My agent is MY agent....

Why should i care about the buyers agent?

Why...because you don't have a sale without the buyer.

You dont have a buyer without that agent.

What comes first? Chicken or egg? I Don't know.

Buttttt i do know when selling a home....the agent comes first.

Like when i was young and trying to date a girl.

I tried to impress the mom, not the girl.

Impress the mom, and the girl will follow.

Impress the agent and the buyers will follow.

Have success selling your home!

Mike I find that the more pleasant other agents are the smoother transactions flow. Having a rep of being fantastic to work with is a gold mine for everybody involved.

Absolutely true.  If the agent loves the house, they will call all their clients to go see it.

Mike,
You are spot on. There is always more inventory than buyers. That buyers agent will work like crazy to help you close.

Mike - There is no reason why both agents in a transaction can't get along. I find that when working together, more often than not the transaction runs smoother, and both the buyer and seller get what they want.

LOL  I agree with you on the agent aspect, but the girl following if the mom is impressed.... none I know, certainly not my daughter.

These are wise words that should be listened to by not only sellers, but listing agents as well.

Mike Rock - A good sellers' agent will pay attention to the buyers' agent, give them the information they need, and court their business.  After all they are the ones who are screening and selecting properties to show to their buyers!  Great advice!
