Yesterday as I walked into the grocery store I was given a list of items in short supply at the local food bank and asked it I would contribute. I always buy gifts cards that the charities can use for fresh items and for emergency situations.
This morning I read Nicholas Kristof's essay in the New York Times entitled "Gifts With Meaning".

As I read I realized that as Realtor's we are in a unique position to give. We give of our time and knowledge, of our experience and empathy. We volunteer and write checks to our churches, schools and libaries.
This year please reach out and give to a stranger. Help someone build a better life. Be the blessing!
