Jonathan you and I sound a lot alike (I hope that does not scare you lol) I spend way too much time perusing the blogosphere looking at this kind of stuff. You have several here I have not seen though and I thank you! Like the top commenter idea and post. I love the Trulia idea of two searches joined with an instant graph. Now, the difference between you and I for sure? I would have to figure out how to do it! More homework.

Carole,

I do spend a lot of time perusing the blogosphere! There is a lot of very good information that our ActiveRain community should be aware of out in the blogoshere. Going forward I am going to try and do one of these mini blogs as often as possible.

Whew! Just got back from checking these out! Joel Spolsky's article on his perspective on Customer Service is refreshing, and so true....Remarkable indeed!

So many great ideas and posts...thanks for linking them for us!

I, too, travel the web for wisdom.

There are so many fresh thoughts out there and some do not even pertain to real estate, but give you a different perspective of what is on people's minds nowadays. Subscribing to interesting ones can fill up my email, but I keep a folder of what I feel could potentially grow my business.

And with a click, I am off to check some of these out!

If you had time to read only one--which would you recommend?

Jonathan,

These are great posts, I never paid much attention to those 30 second elevator pitches before, i have heard them all numerous times, but they just never stood out. I need to make sure mine is as memorable and these if not more, to really hit a homerun when meeting prospective clients. Thanks for posting these

Jonathan, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Scoble, was kind to mention me again and link me to his world read geek blog, only to tease me for not blogging in a month. Slapped my hand big time. A quick jolt back to the blog world. Ouch!!

Nice Jonathan. Everyone should read Freakonomics- it should be standard reading for every human being, in my opinion. Just great stuff.

I have a book that I would highly recommend. It's not in front of me right now, so I can't remember the author's name, but it's called:

What Clients Love

And I would recommend it to all of the ActiveRainers. (is that a word?)

Karen,

Thanks for the recommendation! I will check the book out. Since AR is so new, I don't think we have official terminology down yet. When talking about ActiveRain Network Members I typically shorten it to just "Rainers", but "ActiveRainers" works too.

For the first time in months, am reading.... A BOOK. Gasp! And the author is not going to write back if I leave comments in the margin.

I really appreciate the outside links - saves time for some, and brings good blogs to those like me whojust don't have the time to be everywhere. You should also post about Freakonomics and add it to the AR Book Group. It was an interesting book.

You have a very useful blog. I am surely going to bookmark it right now. I have been into heavy debt for past 2 years and my life seems so hard. I searched for solution on the internet, blogs and forums. I got some help but that was not enough for debt settlement. One of my friend referred me to organisations offering consumer credit debt relief help. I must say, I got some good tips and ideas from experts. Now, I have almost repayed 80% of my debt.
