Hush Puppies, To go with your Fish, New Hampshire, Vermont, Fishing

What ya need

2 Cups of Yellow Cornmeal

1 Teaspoon. of Sage

1 Teaspoon. of Salt

1/2 Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper

1/2 Teaspoon of Black Pepper

1 Small onion, ya want to mince it

3/4 Cup of Mile

1 Egg, ya want to beat it

Heat some oil in a deep fryer, or ya can use a large saucepan ifen ya want to, heat the oil to 370 degrees.

Now in a mixing bowl combine the cornmeal, sage, salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper and the onion.

Add the milk and the egg and mix until it's well mixed up.

Now gather the dough with a tablespoon and form it into 1 inch balls and drop the balls into the hot oil.

Fry until they are a golden brown.

Be sure to use papper towels to drain them on.

Be sure to serve them hot with ya fish. mmmmm good!!
