The Houston Holiday Parade is presented by H-E-B. Every year this parade gets bigger and better and I'm sure that this year will not be an exception! 66 years of holiday tradition are wrapped up into this exciting event in Downtown Houston. It is being held November 26, 2015 (Thanksgiving Day) at 9:00am.
The streets close early for this one so head down early and look for the perfect spot. Admission is free! There will also be local food trucks on hand. You can find all of the details including the parade route on the City of Houston web-site.
Are you busy cooking tomorrow morning? No problem, you can take part in the festivities too as this fantastic parade will be televised by KHOU. That's channel 11 here in Houston. This parade is full of amazing talent including marching bands, dance teams, and cheerleaders from the local area and features the giant inflatables that everyone loves to watch during holiday parades. It's a great way to kick-off the holiday season.
