Braemar Condo Quarterly: July-September 2015
The third quarter of the year is well behind us. Looking back on the activity in the Braemar real estate market, it may well have been one of the busiest quarters for Braemar condo sales. If you recall, we had only two sales of Braemar condos in third quarter of 2014. There were three sales in the second quarter of 2015, which was our last reporting period.
With six sales in the third quarter of 2015, we have a high sales price of $255,000 and a low sales price of $231,000. The average condo sales price was $247,000. That's a drop since last report of a little over 1% in average market value. Since last year, however, average market value for Braemar condos has increased nearly 3%.
If you placed your Braemar condo on the market, priced to current conditions, you could expect it to be under contract in a little less than three weeks. You could also expect to pay nearly 2% of the sales price in closing cost assistance.
