The Best Pho Restaurant on Stockton in Sacramento

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

There are many pho restaurants on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento to choose among, and many in Sacramento itself. We often go to the Pho restaurant in Land Park because it's so convenient to our house, but yesterday we visited another place on Stockton Blvd. just north of Fruitridge and to the east.

If you think you don't like pho, it's probably because you've either never tried the soup or maybe you ordered tripe in it. I don't mind tripe in menudo but it's different in the pho. I actually prefer the rare beef and the meatballs. You can see the photo and read more in my personal blog today at this link: A Sunday Afternoon for Pho, Lockboxes and Real Estate.

I'm going to have to try pho sometime.  We have many of the restaurants here in the area.  As for the cat food, doesn't seem like much to me.  Of course, we are now down to one of the most expensive brands of canned food and feeding 5 of them.

Well, compared to a $6.00 bag of dry food that lasts half a month, wet seems so awfully expensive.

I have no idea what pho is?  That should give you a clue to my eating habits.  M

You probably have to go to Coeur D Alene to find a Vietnamese restaurant in your neck of the woods, LOL.

Elizabeth,  I had soup this morning for breakfast simply because my throat is so sore. Not something I would want frequently.

$165 a month for cat food ... seems like a lot yet I know they joy the 3 cats bring is worth the money on food and vet bills.

Now, about that Ponokio nose who claimed he did not have agent?

Pinnochio is right, Kathleen! I think compared to dry cat food costs, Fancy Feast Classic is too expensive. Plus, why only 3 ounce cans, for crying out loud? My cats consume 12 of those a day, that's a 1/2 carton!

Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents I was introduced to Pho by my son in the last few years and I love it.  As he calls it, good clean food.  We recently went for Pho with some friends.  Neither Richard nor her husband were game, but we enjoyed it.

I think if somebody didn't tell you what it was, except for maybe the star anise, you wouldn't even notice anything peculiar about it.

Good morning Elizabeth.   Well you were all over the map on this one.  Never heard of Pho before and still have no idea of what is in it.  I'll look it up when I'm finished playing in the Rain this morning.

Okay curiosity got the best of me.  Yes I have had it before.  It was okay but don't know if I would go out of my way to have it again.

Maybe it was the tripe you didn't like? Or some other kind of meat product in it, as it comes many ways.
