What Buyers Desire?

I found this interesting. NAR publish this top ten list on there website. It shows the top ten home features that buyer's desire. I have listed them below. In my experience items like Central Air, Cable/Satellite TV and High Speed Internet are expected. Items that I am running into are No HOA fee, lot size, and open floor plan.

1. Central Air Conditioning
2. Garage (2 or more spaces)
3. Walk-in closet in master bedroom
4. Backyard/play area
5. Cable/Satellite TV-ready
6. High-speed Internet Access
7. Separate shower enclosure in master/main bath
8. Patio
9. Fencing
10.Home less than 10 years old

The list is prettty basic. No surprises.

I agree with you, many on the list are taken for granted, its the lot size that my clients object to, 55ft premium lots, tiny back yards, The want open floor plans, tile and granite upgrades, no or low HOA fees and NO MUD (municipal utility district) taxes!
