RainCamp ,,,,,,,,, Boston
Do you remember these days? TBT!
It feels like many many moons ago - and it has happened only little over 5 years ago!
The Raincamp in Boston!
Thanks George Souto for these memories!
It has been a week since I traveled up to Boston with Ed Silva and Valerie Osterhoudt to attend RainCamp Boston. It was my first RainCamp, but most likely will not be my last. It would be nice though if the next RainCamp around here was not held in a major city where it cost an arm and a leg to park, and battle through several miles of bumper to bumper trafic. But even if it is the trip will be well worth it, and I would probably make it again.
I took lots of notes, because there was way to much VALUABLE material for me to remember, A suggestion that I would make for future RanCamps would be to provide a power point of the material, which could be made avaliable for a price, for those who would like to purchase it.
I have already began to apply some of what I learned up in RainCamp Boston, and will try to continue to apply more of it. Ben Kinney did a great job of presenting the material and holding my attention which is not always easy to do. Ben kept it at the right pace for me, and I could not believe how quickly the time went by. I am usually looking at my watch to see how long before the next break, but not last Monday at RainCamp Boston.
I also got to meet members whose blogs I have been following, but had never met before. I got to meet Steve Loynd, Ann Cummings, Joan Whitebook, Kathleen Pacheco, and Bill Gassett. Also up at RainCamp Boston were the Running Realtor Dan Cummings and his lovely wife Sandra Cummings which I have met a few times before, but always a pleasure to see them again.
I would encourage anyone who has yet to attend a RainCamp to do so, it will be well worth your time and money. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
