Buyers, Are You Really Ready to Move?

By
Real Estate Agent with The Kelly Group Real Estate

Know When the Time is Right! It is hard to know when you are really ready to move forward with house hunting, making an offer and packing up the moving van. So many things often have to come into alignment, from starting a new job, waiting for the school year to end or waiting for your current listing that is active on the market to get a solid offer.

However, it is never too early to begin your search for your ideal home or property. By staying up-to-date with current listings and market fluctuations, you will have a better idea of what you can afford in the area you are looking to relocate. But, before you schedule all those showing appointments with your agent, make sure you discuss your options with a lender so you know what you can reasonably expect to afford. While viewing properties that are outside your pricing range may be enjoyable and give you ideas for staging, each showing requires time not only from your agent, but from the sellers that worked hard to prepare their listing for your showing. Be courteous and honest regarding your intentions in viewing properties as you, when selling, would expect the same treatment in kind.

If you are having difficulty determining what steps you need to take next or when it will be the right time to begin your search for your next home, talk to one of our talented buyers agents today! They are on call and can help get you started in your quest. Just call 503-730-9999 and we can get you lined up to receive automated lists of active properties that fit your search criteria.

Yes! A good real estate agent definitely keeps their fingers on the pulse of the market. Not sure if the interest hike will get some of those buyers off the fence in the next few weeks!
