Low real estate inventory in the Roosevelt-Ravenna-Maple Leaf keeps prices up
This week:
The median list price in Seattle’s Roosevelt-Ravenna Maple Leaf neighborhoods is $695,000 up from last week’s $674,000. Inventory has been lightening lately and the Market Action Index (see MAI chart below) has been trending up. Though days-on-market is increasing, these are mildly positive indications for the market.
Supply and Demand
While the Market Action Index shows some strengthening in the last few weeks, prices have not seemed to move from their plateau. Should the upward trend in sales relative to inventory continue, expect prices to resume an upward climb in tandem with the MAI.

We continue to see prices in the Maple Leaf-Ravenna- Roosevelt areas bounce around this plateau. Look for a persistent down-shift in the Market Action Index before we see prices deviate from these levels.

Roosevelt is a neighborhood in north Seattle, Washington. Its main thoroughfare, originally 10th Avenue, was renamed Roosevelt Way upon Theodore Roosevelt’s death in 1919. The neighborhood received his name as the result of a Community Club contest held eight years later, in 1927.
