I live and work in Southborough, Massachusetts. A beautiful town located in Worcester County and what is called the Metro West area of Massachusetts.
I generally go to work happy and filled with positivity.
Being a real estate attorney with your own conveyancing practice has been extremely rewarding.
I get to stay out of the courtroom ( which for me is a good thing), keep reasonably hours and work in area that is common to most people. real estate.
Sure this is not the best market, but it will survive. Many other industries vanish overnight. Real estate will always be there, whether its a booming or not.
But the most important thing is that I genuinly love working in real estate. Its a very rewarding feeling to help someone buy their first home or help them lower their monthly expenses.
A real estate transaction should always leave people in a better situation than when you found them. Either with lower monthly expenses or that new home they always dreamed about. ( I'm not included the dark side of the force/ real estate, ie. foreclosures, I stay away from that area).
Bottom line, the Red Sox are winning, Spring is here and I love my profession
You know what they say, "If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life," well consider me retired!

It's good to hear about those that are happy in the business, that brings a lot to the table because when your not happy it shows and people would rather avaoid you, so keep up the thoughts and fake it if you have too.
By the Way I'm originally from Sudbury not to far from you, but practice at Loon Mountain Ski Resort, now that is the life to be happy about.
Thanks for the sunny start. Steve
