Sitting back far off the road the mailbox is what you see first. Next is piles of leaves and what is left of their flower garden, brown, limping plants swaying in the breeze. I was starting to answer my question why this home did not sell when it was listed with the big time big box agent.
The inside of the home was gorgeous. Mint condition, neat and clean. The outside was indeed a disaster. The home owner asked what i could do that no other agent could do? The secret to this home selling, is doing what their old agent did not do, and that is telling the home owner the hard truth that the exterior of the home scares off potential buyers before they even get inside.
I was not sure how they would handle it and their reply was a blank stare.
