Dreaming of that Luxury Home in SouthEast King County?

High End homes South East King County

It's not going to cost as much as you might think. In fact, compared with many with other markets in the Greater Seattle/Bellevue area, you can get a pretty big bang for your buck if you shift your market search to South King County. This post specifically takes a look at activity YTD for properties over One Million in Renton, Auburn, Covington, Maple Valley, Enumclaw, Ravensdale and Black Diamond

Because it's my blog post and I can do what I want to ;-)....I'm going to exclude Kennydale from the mix. It's a Renton address but lives more like South Bellevue, so let's ix-nay ennydale-kay.

Which leaves us with a pretty big geographic area.

The highest priced property sold so far in 2015 closed just a scosh for 1.38 M. It was an 11 Acre 4 Bedroom home (just under 4000 sq. feet) with a full accessory dwelling.

All together, 12 properties have sold for more than 1M this year.

Whether the 1.38M sale will retain the title of highest sold in the SE King County market for 2015 remains to be seen as there is a pending sale listed just over 2M. This could close in 2015 or 2016...time will tell!

Colleen, love the  house in the photo!  I could very easily live there, especially with the pool.
