This is to asssit active duty, veteran, and retired military personnel with their relocation. These links include a  range of relocation information including DITY checklists, information on pet transportation, PCS processes, shipping procedures, and more.

 Operation Military Move is a free service provided to relocating military families. They will provide you with a packet of information on your destination of interest, including community profiles, demographics, schools, etc.

State Information. Get local listings: weather, local sports scores, yellow pages, white pages, maps, classifieds, message boards, chat, movie listings, and web sites in the area where you are moving or considering.

There are three great sites for city information. USA City Link and CitySearch. All three sites have great information and links to help you find out more information on virtually any city in the world.

The DoD Per Diem, Travel and Transportation Allowance Site provides the VHA, Per Diem and COLA Rates worldwide.

Fort Meade ACS Relocation Assistance - you can link to SITES, resources that provide information about state transportation, real estate, local newspapers, tourism and schools.

Maps On Us is a great site that will help you both give you a free map to your destination, but great directions as well.

The School Report offers free school information: average SAT schools, student/teach ratios, computer in the classroom and more. Discover comprehensive informaton on over 12,000 public school districts nationwide.

T he ASVAB Career Exploration Program provides descriptive information on hundreds of occupations, most existing in both the civilian and military worlds-of-work and spanning most of the jobs in the U.S. economy. Students are provided references to materials in each of these documents for ease in locating information on specific occupations. Students are encouraged to use the resources in their schools' libraries and career centers.
