With recent declines in tax revenues due to the slight slowing in our local economy we've been experiencing, plus the phasing out of our Federal timber funding, a Southern Oregon project that is impressive by its own accord becomes of even greater import to the communities it will affect in Josephine County.
The development of Paradise Ranch Resort is underway. The centerpiece of this incredible development is a ruff-graded 18-hole golf course co-designed with Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, a course that is the third largest in the State of Oregon and the largest in Southern Oregon scheduled to be opened in summer 2009. With 200 home sites planned on average lot sizes of ¼ acre, the setting here is amazing. Although this isn't quite a fly-in neighborhood, the Josephine County Airport is right next door, with access and hanger space reserved for not only the homeowners' use, but also for those coming to visit the Resort. Paradise Ranch Resort will contain 150 overnight accommodations in addition to its many amenities which are to include a spa, three pools, tennis, a golf-academy, conference center and dining.
What a place to visit or live Paradise Ranch Resort will be! At the most Northern tip of the Rogue Valley in Grants Pass, surrounded by over 1-million acres of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and hundreds of miles of amazingly scenic rivers, Southern Oregon Vineyard and Wineries all around, about an hour away from the Southern Oregon Coast through the stunning old-growth coastal Redwood forest or from Crater Lake National Park, the source of the Rogue River.
Come check us out here in Southern Oregon! You'll be glad you did.
See you out there!
