Good morning, Wanda Kubat-Nerdin  that happened to me once... I didn't realize I could only post once a day to Anna Banana Kruchten 's group....that was my fault and I had not read the rules.... learned quickly!!!

Same for me as for Barbara Todaro & Anna Banana Kruchten , who was moderating, shed her grace on me at the time...

Good morning Wanda. This is true and often odd but each group had their own rules.

Fortunately, haven't had this issue.... I must admit beyond the "subject" matter that should fit the group's intent, I couldn't possibly keep all the other rules in mind (like only one post a day). I figure if I break the rules and they remove it, so be it. Won't take offense, but also not spending a lot of time worrying about whether to check the box or not.

I am down to about three groups I contribute to. Most groups are either unmonitored, abandoned, or not relevant anymore.

Good Morning Wanda,  I got lucky and only one time I mess up and got a request from the group that I could not post it.

I post to a lot of arizona based and local groups mostly now. I got chastised by one group for commenting too much on posts that were shared within the group? I still don't undertand that but I just left the group altogether. 

I had this happen to me and for this reason I deleted myself from the Group. Too bad, because it was an excellent group but I felt excommunicated and kicked out without understanding why.

Hey- I moderate for A+Tudes and I've forgotten and posted twice there.  Oops!  

I had one that was rejected and the moderator send my a nice E-mail as to why.  I did apprieciate that.

Wanda it's simple as you said - read the rules of whatever group and flow along with the fun. Many do NOT read the rules and then go all nuts because their post was deleted.   The A+ group has been in the top spot for over 4 plus years & we run through a lot of posts every day. It's not such an easy task to keep track of what's going on. Our Moderators are volunteers and as such are just as busy as everyone else - hint hint - they don't send out emails if post is inappropriate.  We expect everyone to be big boys and girls and read the rules and 'if' a post gets deleted it's probably because it was either a listing or open house or they've got 2 up on the blog roll page at the same time.  Oh yea - no whinning or politics either!!

Wanda,  I think there is a better way ... it feels so harsh to be just booted out like that. All that would fit well in the Crap-Tacular Group.

With all the groups I moderate at the Acticerain network, I have (NEVER) deleted any members posts.

Rules or no rules, I think it's RUDE

Good morning Wanda.  I have three groups.  Post to them anytime about anything you want.  We still live in a country of free speech.  I have a story about this post but it would take up too much room for this forum.  Needless to say I'm not in any group that I have not started.

Wanda, that has happened to me a couple of times...if all else fails...read the rules!
