2015 Ventura Harbor Village Boat Parade of Lights
This year's theme for the 2015 Ventura Harbor Village Boat Parade of Lights is "Surf, Sand and Santa". The parade starts at 6:30pm. But you can come early and get some shopping done first. Stop off at one of the wonderful seaside restaurants at the harbor and watch while you dine. Carnival rides will be set up on the Main Lawn. We've been told that Santa is going to make an appearance. He's taking last minute requests from good little boys and girls. Then, if that isn't enough for you, the parade will end with a brilliant fireworks display overhead at 8pm.
Plan on shopping before the festivities begin? From 11am to 11pm on both Friday and Saturday, you can take the Downtown Harbor Trolley for free. It has a set route along the harbor, with several pick up and drop off locations. That way, you can park in one location before you jet off to the stores and restaurants along the way. It will even take you right to the 2015 Ventura Harbor Village Boat Parade of Lights. Afterwards, hop aboard for a trip back to your car. How awesome is that? You can view and/or download the Downtown Trolley's schedule here.
